Ok everyone now to reveal the method to my madness. Here during the past week I asked you the players to vote on a list of jutsu types that you thought needed more jutsu. www.naruchronicles.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=votes&thread=2522Though my intent was to take the two highest voted "types" and ask you the players to come up with ideas to be added we have a tie for second place. So to fix this problem I will do this: I would like you the players to come up with TWO jutsu to suggest to be added to the server jutsu list. You can pick from wind or shadow, and taijutsu. You can only submit two during this contest so make sure they are what you want to submit. At the end of this contest, June 9 2010, I will take the jutsu and post them to the DM forums to be gone over by the staff, approved and hopefully be posted no later then that following Monday. As before with my previous jutsu suggestion contest accepted jutsu will net the creator 3 tokens each and bragging rites. Please use the below format for your submissions so that they are easier to look over and work through. SHADOW JUTSU:
Shadow Style: Dark Needles Barrage Type: Ninjutsu Rank: C CP: 5 Description: The user handsigns then jumps into the air, soaring high above the opponent, they then handsigns and 4 needles formed from shadow appear next to the user. Then, the user handsigns once more and the needles launch at the opponent stabbing them in each limb, the left arm, right arm, left leg, and right leg. The opponent is injured and also feels weakened and much slower. PVP: 2d4+1(3-9) Damage to 1 target and the opponent gets -1 to all rolls for 1d4 rounds. //EFFECTS DON'T STACK
Example: Shikamaru versus Naruto
Shikamaru jumps into the air then handsigns swiftly. Naruto is wondering what he is up to and is on his toes. Four needles made of shadows then appear next to Shika in the air. He handsigns once more and they launch at Naruto. "Shadow Style: Dark Needles Barrage" Shika yells out. Naruto doesn't see it coming and the needles hit him in each of his limbs, his legs and his arms. Naruto feels slightly weaker and slower then when this was first used.
Shika rolls Damage: 2d4=3, 3+1= Total Damage: 4 to Naruto Shika rolls penalty: 1d4=2 Total Penalty: Naruto gets -1 to all rolls for 2 rounds.
TAJUTSU:
Snake in the Grass Technique Type: Tajutsu Rank: A CP: 11 Description: The user runs at the opponent only to disappear with a "poof" into the surronding enviroment. The user then blends in with the surrondings and attempts to pull off a combo of a trip, jab, roundhouse, then an uppercut. PVP: The user rolls a Hide and MS while opponent rolls Spot and Listen, if user is spotted, they still roll to see if the user hits. If the opponent is unsuccesful in Spot/Listen, the user sneak attacks to opponent and hits automatically. If hits it does 1d8+1 damage. REQUIRED: User must know flicker to use.
Example: Shikamaru versus Naruto
Naruto runs at Shikamaru then disappears with a "poof" into the surronding forest. Naruto easily sneaks up from behind Shika and trips him. As Shika falls, Naruto sends a jab to Shikas jaw knocking him slighty backwards. Shika begins to get up then Naruto roundhouse kicks him into the air. As Shika falls through the air Naruto jumps up and sends an uppercut to his chin nearly shattering his jaw.
Naruto rolls Damage: 1d8=1, 1+1=2, Total Damage: 2

Whispering Winds
Type: GenJutsu Rank: C CP: 5 Description: The User manipulates their Wind around them, and causes it too whistle around their target. The Target would slowly start to hear Shrieks and cries of pain in the wind, causing them to become Distort and feared from the sudden Cries of pain. PVP: Stun One Target for 1d6+1 Rounds
(Requires Wind Element To Learn)
Uprising Wind Current
Type: NinJutsu Rank:B Description: Using a Warfan. The user would quickly spin around on the spot. 3 or 4 times. After doing this, they would target a group of people, and then stop spinning after forming a small wind current around themselves, and send it flying at the oponnets. This wind current would shoot the targes from the ground, and send them flying straight into the air. When the wind stops pushing then, the targets would be sent flying back to the ground. PVP: 3d4 + 1d8, up to 1d4 Targets
( User must own a War Fan)

Fuuton: Wangetsu Kamataichi (Crescent Slashes of Wind) Type: Ninjutsu Rank: A Cp Cost: 13 Description: The user sends a force of wind forwards that begins to blow around a single target, as the wind picks up and then takes the form of many-like crescent shaped blades that flow around them, before they begin to spin around at a swift pace before they push the target up into the air and then twist around the target, cutting and slashing into their skin, which creates the form of a vortex of wind pushing around the target as they are cut up by invisable-like blades, only those trapped in the small vortex even see the moving blades as they are ripped to shreds by the jutsu. Pvp: Deals 1d20+2d8 ~Unblockable~
Fuuton: Meikaze Jougo (Dark Wind Funnel) Type: Ninjutsu Rank: A Cp Cost: 13 Description: The user sends a single blast of wind towards the Sky, before a small cloud forms that darkens quickly before it begins to twist slowly before a funnel of wind begins to move down towards a few targets before sucking them up into the large vortex. While they are trapped inside they begin to lose their breath and begin to feel a choking sensation and are constanly battared by the force of wind that slaps against their bodies, before it ends and sends them falling down towards the ground to take the damage of hitting a group from being up in the air. Pvp: Targets 1d4 Targets, deals 2d10+1d8 damage

Name : Heaven and Earth Furious Barage Type : Taijutsu Rank : S CP : 19
RP : After the user increases their speed, they run around their target as quickly as possible, forming several after images. Then, the user rushes at the target, kicking upward several times, it appearing as if there are 3 of the user at the same time, when really there is just the one, moving super fast. Moments after the target is launched into the air, the user is above them and drops a heel kick into them, sending them speeding to the ground, when the user shows up again, punching them flying away from the user, only for the user to show back up in front of where they are flying and punch them into the ground. All this takes a matter of seconds, and is usually too fast for the eye to see.
DF : User MUST have Chakra Boosting: Master Speed active BEFORE using this technique. Deals Base Taijutsu dmg+2d10+2d4 (min : 5, max : 38, crit min : 10, crit max : 76) to target. Target is also stunned for 1 round after use, due to extreme trama in a short few seconds, if that. User is stuned for 1d4-1 rounds(min1, max 3; being hit does NOT end this stun) due to extreme exhaustion of using this technique. Chakra Boosting: Master Speed also ends after this technique is used, even if there are more rounds available.
Requires Chakra Boosting: Master Speed to use AND learn, and MUST be USED and LEARNED with DEX

Art of the Chaos Palm : Twin Snake Type: Darkness Taijutsu Rank: C CP: 6 Description: The user calls black chakra to their palms and strikes towards the target's shoulders, locking them in place, making it difficult for them to attack. PVP: Causes 1d6 damage and -2 to attacking rolls for 1d4 rounds.
Art of the Chaos Palm : Final Eclipse Type: Darkness Taijutsu Rank: S CP: 20 Description: The user concentrates a tremendous amount of chakra into their palms as their hands turn black and start to chizzle away at the skin. After which, the user flickers towards the target at incredible speeds, being unable to be seen more than likely, striking a palm into the target's gut, sending them straight into the air, before sending them directly down to the ground in an explosion of dark chakra that knows no friend or foe. Due to the pressure put on the user, the user becomes weaker for a period of time. PVP: Deals rank damage + 2d10 (4-36 x2[crit]) damage to the main target, and 2d8 (2-16 x2[crit]) damage to surrounding targets (all allies and enemies). After attacking, the user takes -3 to all rolls for 2d4 (2-8) rounds. (Must know Flicker Technique)

Art of Shadow: Subtle Deathblow Type: Darkness Kenjutsu Rank: B CP: 9 Description: The User focuses a large amount of dark chakra onto their weapon and attacks the target, on a hit or miss, the user can launch the blade of dark chakra at their target for Half Damage.
PVP: Rank Damage + 1d8, The User is able to perform a second attack for half damage. (Must know Imbue weapon)
Art of Shadow: Dark Conversion Type: Darkness Ninjutsu Rank: C CP: 7 Description: Dark Chakra radiates from the user as they handseal then proceed to fire a beam of dark energy at their target. This beam looks to drain their victim while invigorating themselves. PVP: Drains the target by -1d4 to all Rolls for 1d4 rounds, while giving the user the same amount in bonuses.

Fuuton: Vortex (Oshikadou) Rank: A CP: 15 (2 higher than normal) Description: One hand extended and grasping with open palm, the other hand clutches their own forearm - doubling the flow of chakra and control into one point. Using the focused power at their disposal, the user draws the air around them inwards, toward themselves, forming a vacuum compression that draws in and crushes anyone or anything unfortunate enough. As the pull of air cannot be 'avoided' the only defense is to hold on to something or some form of wall in the way. PvP: Undodgeable, causing 3d10 damage
Heartbreaker (Shoushin) Rank: C CP: 4 Description: A dual point strike - using a few basic aspects of body reactions and anatomy, the first open palmed strike directly over the heart with the heal of the palm causes brief trauma, disrupting their heartbeat for a few seconds, then a second strike - a rising stab with fingertips toward their solar plexus, to cause increased pain and disrupt their breathing - with the combination of no breathing and no heartbeat, the target is almost completely helpless for a few seconds or until they recover. PvP: Rank Damage +1d4 and stun target for 1 round (or until hit)

"Senpuu Gaeishi" (Whirlwind Solstice)
Type: Taijutsu Rank: C CP: 5
Description: A variation on the cyclone kick that incorperates the principles of it and that of the chakra focusing taijutsu strikes. The user focuses chakra into the narrower sections of their anatomy (i.e. base of hands and forearms elbows, knees and heels) and then they execute a twirling barrage of strikes from these parts of the body with little time to be countered. The textbook manuvere iniates with an elbow strike, flowing to a hand strike, the twirl moving the other arm into posistion to add another hand strike and elbow contact, finishing with a axe heel to the head.
PVP: According to their rank, the player deals the following damage (including normal tai damage):
Genin = 3d4 Chuunin = 4d4 Jounin = 4d4+2
In all instances, the player may re-roll 1 of their damage dice and keep the highest of all rolled.
Requires Wind Element
Tengabou (Sky moth divide) Type: Ninjutsu (wind) Rank: C CP: 5
Description: By forming chakra on the tips of their fingers on one hand, the user may then arc their hand upward to create a whip like shockwave, able to cut bone
PVP: 4d4 damage, CON check on DC 12, on failure an extra 1d4 is dealt.

This one I thought while blowing bubbles in my hot chocolate on my break, and thought I'd put it in for the heck of it :
Name : Wind Style : Prison Break Rank : C-B (whatever rank the Prison jutsus are, I forget) CP : Normal C-B CP cost Element : Wind RP : After being caught in a Water Prison Jutsu, the user focuses chakra into the Prison, and channels it in a way to disrupt the chakra flow in the prison. DF : Can only be used AFTER being locked in WATER Prison Jutsu. User rolls WIS VS. WIS to disrupt the Prison and break out.
I thought of this cause last I checked, once stuck in a "prison" jutsu, you are stuck till someone hits you or it crumbles on its own or something...

Come on you two,
I may not be a DM. But i'm sure Shikamaru would not appreciate this. It's a contest thread, not a thread to criticise and yell at each other. That's what the DM's do when it moves to the DM threads. I may not be Staff on the forums, But I am going to ask one thing of both of you. Please Remove these posts, as I don't want Shikamaru get mad at both of you.
He will get annoyed at my post alone, So I will be removing it. Please do the right thing.

For those of you that participated in this contest I would like to thank each and everyone of you. Here lately I've become very busy and will attempt to get these organized and posted to the DM board by the end of the week to hopefully have them reviewed and accepted by next Friday, June 18th. I know in my original projections they would be up by this coming Monday but school for me has gone into overdrive and I'm a bit swamped.
Please bare with me and the DM team and we will have your jutsus posted by June 18th, again thanks for all the participation guys and girls
