I'm posting the DM APP I had to fill out long ago that Dale sent me here. If you think you can contribute to the server as a DM fill out the app and PM me the form.
Currently it is:

Admin 2: Dm Kabuto/Dm Pein *Inactive*
Admin 3: Dm Shikamaru/Jirayia
DM: Dm Asuma

So, I want to see:
1. What you want to change on NC, how you would make that change, what it will improve, and the worst case scenario exploit that can be done by a player if you made that change.
_____
2. Design a medium length quest. It should look something like a play. Describe the intro, the body of the quest and the the wrap up. in the Intro, explain how you will gather the PC's together and get them on the road to doing the action. In the body, use as many "chapters" as you need, but explain each "scene", what the outcome of the scene will be and any NPC's you would need to have present. Finally, in the conclusion, explain how the PC's eventually "win" and what the reward would be. This should be about a paragraph for each piece.
_____
3. Describe what skills you bring to the table. Is it your age and wisdom? is it your abiity to write novels and work with storylines? is it your familiarity with the DM tools already? While this is an opportunity to "sell yourself", it's also an opportunity to know what we are working with. If you already know the toolset, then we know you will need less training than another DM. Don't be shy, but also don't be a conceited ass that only got his job because he has dirt on everyone else. That goes in your future GM applications... Wink
_____
4. Give the general "technical" and boring information. What hours can you support realistically. Please be realistic too. Don't just say, "Oh!! I can be online over 40 hours in a week!" Be serious, what loser is going to be online over 40 hours in that period of time! We expect you to h... *leans over as he is tapped* I'm talking. What? What metric? I have been how long? *Looks up* Um... forget that. I mean if you can be online over 40 hours in a period, um... we will give you a raise! Yea! We'll double your salary! Umm... on to the next issue....
_____
5. Be a team player. Don't do this if you cannot take criticism and in turn dish it out with respect. You will not be the golden child all the time. You will have to stick to your guns when you are right and usually that will bite you in the tail! Believe me, I know. Smile However, if you can look forward to being here, enjoy your time "at work" and sleep well, then you are just what we want.
