Hello, i was looking around the forums and could not find anything about chakra elements and what there good agaisnt and waht they are so i decided to do some research and post myself wether we put somthing on the forums (or if there is something already in place that i have not been told yet)


The five elements themselves form a cyclical strong and weak relationship against each other. The element of Fire is stronger than Wind, as the usage of Wind merely increases the strength of Fire. So if a Fire jutsu came up against an equal strength Wind jutsu, the Fire jutsu is more likely to win out. Wind in turn is stronger than Lightning. Lightning is stronger than Earth and Earth in stronger than Water. Water finishes the cycle by naturally winning out over Fire.

That being said here is my idea

with that i was thinking maybe somthing like

weak over strong gets +2 to hit, or if its a defense jutsu +2 to defend against it...

so ninja A... Water jutsu
and Ninja B... using earth jutsu

Ninja A uses ▲Water Style: Water Missile Jutsu
Ninja B defends with √Doton: Ganseki Kabi (Rock Wall)

Ninja A roll's a gets a 15
Ninja B rolls and gets a 14
Ninja B gets a +2 to defense due to water being weak to earth

missle smashes agaisnt the rock wall Ninja B is uninjuried

could work fise versa for attacking

we also run into Rank D is stronger then rank a jutsu.... so maybe we should have a higher lvl jutsu brings down the bonus you get... such as if you used a rank C water jutsu against a rand D earth jutsu the bouns goes down to +1

If a rank B water jutsu is used agasinta rank D earth jutsu the bonus is negated...

Thus making a rank S earth jutsu agasint a rank S water jutsu the earth jutsu will be stronger against water

This was discussed by the team and agreed that adding this in would only complicate things more for the extensive rules system we already have. The staff decided not to add this in.
