Training, and things you should know.

As you all know, we are trying to make the learning of Jutsu.. less instant, but some things are still a mystery to you guys, and since their is nothing posted, some of you have been doing things to try to get past the new gates training system so you can still learn a jutsu in one day... So today, I am clarifying some rules that you need to know, from here on, no excuses about not knowing you couldn't do this or that.

1. turns out u can use chakra pills, up to 3 if u have that many.

2. As you know, you can only learn 1 jutsu a day, 2 per week max. However, you cannot train on a jutsu every other hour.. You can only continue training after exactly 4 hours from your last training session. (There is a good chance this will change if you continue to learn jutsu in 1 day)

3. As you know, you must post who taught you what jutsu... To specify on this, you must post the character name, and the Login name, and now you must post the date in which you learned the jutsu, such as "learned on mm/dd/yy, example 10/23/10"(which is month/day/year).

As for those of you who have special whatever-things that worked with the old training method, such as -1 dc to learning these jutsu, etc... They do not work with gates training, we are working to fix that and adapt and change those things to work with the new gates training system, and we will announce when it is done.

A final message to all of you... Yes, it is harder to learn jutsu... But you look at this all wrong. No one in the show, ever learned a jutsu in one day other than an uchiha, and even then they had to train very hard to master it still.. The old system had some flaws, you learned jutsu far to easily, far to quickly... This new system, makes it more natural, to how it should be. And it also gives you a chance to earn tokens... Yes thats right, if you rp out your training, we sometimes give you tokens if you actually gave a damn rather than just going. *handsigns* *rolls* "wow tough... tries again" *handsigns* *rolls* "Im so handsome" *handsigns* *rolls* "// so what do I write that down as?"

Many of you have been going power crazy hungry for the past week or two, and rather than RP and actually care, you just act as if it is a chore, send us messages about how much of a pain it is, and it takes sooo long, its too hard to rp for 30 mins to an hour each day for 4 days long... Because thats what it is. A personalized RP session between us which we take out of our time to personally teach you something you wanted, yet not badly enough to care... And because of this we have to go through certain measures to make it take longer, which you manage to find ways around that as well so you can learn jutsu faster than we allow. So instead of having time to make things more fun, we have to spend more time writing things down to make sure your not trying to pull a fast one on us...

I understand thisfully Lee, but thanks for the clarification. To be honest guys, I prefer the new system. As once you start learning, and you run out of Chakra, you just can't wait to get back to learning. This is so much funner aswell. Even though you get sore hands, its worth the Rp and the tokens.

Mmm I agree, seeing that there are people who know so many jutsu before even chunnin used to make me sort of sick because those that did had a sensei or dm that favored them, now it doesn't matter how much training someone is willing to give there is a full limit as to what can and cannot be done and how fast it can be done.

i like the idea, its nice and all, but about your rant, 100% agree there are a hell lot of people guilty of this, and id like to add, its to the nin genin espesialy, ninjutsues are heavly OP compeared to Tai, and deal massive DMG, iv been beaten not once by people like that and id like to say something, even if you know 1000s of jutsues, and can deal 100s of dmg, id like to remind you that your still just a genin you arnt got or anything and from time to time when i was on i got a lot of crap from genin when they won spars with me while im a chunin, so hear me out, if your fighting someone and they arnt using lvls it means they are going easy on you if they arnt it means you got very very lucky, and it quait obvious, so please dont give higher ranked ppl crap if you defeat them, because not only dose it get on people nerves but its alsoe not so good RP

Especially when the genin you are sparring with knows higher level jutsu than you do >.> It's nice when they take it with a grain of salt and are just like, I got lucky but it can get irritating when they shove it in your face. It's happened to me before.

Two points of interest.

1. I like the new system for the most part. I dunno that I like not being able to use chakra pills as naruto used food pills during rasen-shur training but it makes it harder I suppose. Maybe lower the effectiveness of food pills in training to 3 rounds or 2 rounds to make it more cannonically sound.

2. Please proofread your stuff. It's frustrating when I can't make out words. It's not just you and English may not be your first language. I don't know the facts but I know it's frustrating trying to make out something from terrible misspellings and they could be derived into something entirely different.

Ninjutsus are heavily Overpowered Compared to Taijutsu (Besides the fact that they use more Chakra and normally forces the said-Ninjutsu user to have a bloodline, or a high Dexterity to dodge attacks when they get Low chakra) as they deal a larger amount of damage.

I've been beaten not once by people like that and I'd like to say something... Even if you have thousands of Jutsus and can deal a hundred damage...

You are -still- just a Genin, you aren't god or anything and from time to time when I was on I got a lot of crap from Genin when they won spars against me while I was chunin, so hear me out...

If you're fighting someone and they aren't using levels it usually means they are "Going easy" on you and if they are using levels, They either have extremely low modifiers or you got extremely lucky so take a grain of salt and toss it over your shoulder.

Please don't mock people when you defeat them if they are a higher Rank/Level than you, it's not very sportsman-like.

However, this is a bit off subject, but I'd like to throw in my two cents here.

If a player is mocking someone who is a higher level if they beat you, beat them down. But then again, if you are frustrated you lost to a Genin, then why did you go into a Spar with them?

Obviously you thought you'd win, but if you lost, then shrug it off and walk with a grain of salt.

As an owner of a strong Genin, I take mild offense to the above statement, I Spar Chunins and Jounins all the time, for the RP purposes and to see how strong they are, but never once do I show disrespect but rather envy, that someday my PC can obtain that strength and the respect and duty that comes with it.


In a short statement, power to the players.



Edit: To judge someones RP just because their PC is arrogant or full of himself... I just ask you... Who are you to judge how another plays their PC? The Shinobi world is full of arrogant individuals who aspire towards God-Hood, look at all of the Villains and Clan Leaders, who are we to judge another person by their Ambitions?

just a point, even Naruto, who can be as cocky as any other, shows respect and aw to those he respects and things that are new AND amazing. example, he doesnt talk tough to Gaara or anything, though he does to the hokage (both 3rd and 5th), cause of how hes interacted with them. Gaara has earned Narutos respect, but the hokages havent in his eyes. everyone is different, and some need a beat down to start showing respect, or something else.

Agreed. Just that plain and simple ... I like the new system alot xD lol SO much more realistic, and Means I can really enjoy my 4-5 line RP's of each roll for learning a Jutsu. ^_^

Anyhow, I think bragging ic when you beat a chuunin/jounin and your a genin is merited. However you also have to think about "Would my char do that. " and no offense to anyone... But alot of the people on NC run chars that -would- brag if they beat someone significantly higher. Granted its anoying... And if they bring it to ooc take screen shots send it to us and its taken care of. BUUUUUUT i know the Koucha my artist while he wouldn't rub it in the face of a higher up he would never let them live it down. So just remember that.

i remember red, and in fact back b4 you left w/e i always asked dm's when they taught me stuff if they knew it cause it was fun. *nod nod*

and cannonly speaking, since that's where we're taking our examples from...yes B-ranks+ it took the chars in the show(that were shown) day's to learn however...it freakin took naruto all of a couple hours to learn shadow-clone, and it was even stated/shown he sucked at clones sooo... (he started at dusk, and immediatly people were sent after him catching him once he learned it,, it was still night when he was caught soo...hours) i really dont think that it should take a genin3-4 day's to learn a D-rank...yea c and up should take a bit, but learning a D-rank shouldnt take that long, but it still does/will unless you have a great db that rolls constantly 16-20 and then you'll have it in 2 day's. *nod nod*

i like the gate-system, i just think some of the gates are to high/or to many gates for the rank.

ah but you also need to remember...None of you are naruto, or sasuke, or etc.. Your generic ninja by cannon standards, the ones that die, or have a hard time with everything that our star ninjas succeed at epicly.

except you forget lee, naruto's learning/shinobi skills are WORSE then the regular nin in the show, in fact, it say's in the show he's the worse of his class before he learns to access the ninetails power willingly, yet he still manages to learn shadow clone in a day...doesnt that say something bout the rest of the shinobi?

Yeah, this system does piss me off XD but it really helps with the actual process of learning a jutsu because it actually takes even people like Sasuke, 24 hours of straight, non-stop, vigorious training to learn 1 jutsu that may even be D-Ranked XD

Aoi i dont judge anyones RP in the server, i dont really cear if they are arogant or not, moust of Umukarus freinds were arogant jack-asses (and moust of em are dead now >.>) if you win with me good for u, if you louse then its ok too, all im asking for is to play it out normaly, ampishin sholdent stop you from beaing respectfull, the fact that you have a good build that gives you high stats stats in the range of mod 12s isent a reason to be arogant, i havent been on for a while but when i was it happened not once, the fact that as a genin ninjutsue user you can whipe a big chunk of my HP in 1 hit is also a bit anyoing but thats offtopick, i dident judge i pointed someone als, Alsoe please note something, moust of the argonat people in the show are ubder powerfull ninjas, around S rank, they get to be arogant

well, not all are S ranked. look at the guy who stole the 2nd(?) hokages lightning sword, he was an uber cocky something i cant say without getting in trouble, but he was, in my opinion, a B rank at best. also, most criminals seem to be cocky. that may just be a facade to hide any real fear, but usually they are not faking it. anyway, just another cent >.>
