I am sure since there is only a small amount of active players left, not many of you will read this, but I really think that we need someone to step up and try for a position as a DM. I don't want to see this server die because it is a great server. Unfortunately, it is in the process of dying right now because we currently have almost 0 active DMs considering Kabuto is rarely on and Kelly is...Kelly. This thread probably won't do much but get a few thinking but if you have been thinking about applying to be a DM, now is the time to do it or this server could be in for it.

We have maybe 5 players and I wouldn't call anyone "active" since I see the server population remain at 0 almost all day. There is no point Gaara and honestly the staff wants it closed down. In a vote post done in the DMs board it was a marjority vote to close it but Kelly doesn't want to bring it down. Noone wants to run the server anymore and there is not enough players to justify making DMs and Kelly isn't going to make new DMs to DM "four" players. I know none of you want the server to go down but we're tired and done in general and honestly WANT the server taken down, not "revived" for at most another month.

Well I completely understand that, and school has started back up, of course there is not going to be as many players on. Between homework, and after school stuff everyone is going to be extremely busy. I have waited on the server recently as well, there are still people that try to join the server, I just can't stay on long enough at times to keep them interested. This server is the last naruto server on NWN that does NOT require hakpaks and alot of people like that considering most people don't want to sit there and wait for something to download. I know the DMs may have voted but if the server wasn't a good one it would have died years ago. We have lost several players due to complications but that is fine, this server still has serveral loyal players that don't want to see it go down and it would be a shame if it did. Also, one of the reasons why we lose players so fast is beacuse the fact a DM rarely pops on now a days. This server is basically impossible to play if it is loaded with a bunch of genin, all you can do is rp while fighting with E-Rank Jutsu. That gets a bit boring after a while. But in my honest opinion this server still has more than enough potential to keep going and some of the previous Dms may be ready to give up but I am not.

idk. I think it's over. No one's on. No one has the time or energy to work on it. Everyone just migrates over to the other server because they have an established player base already, because they bribed people over with power to get them over there..and now they can run the server however they want, because the players are already there. The dm team is gone, pretty much. There's just...nothing left but ashes and memorys. Great memorys...bad memorys..for the past few years I've experienced everything almost everything that NC can offer me. Friendships, love, betrayal, fantasy, action, excitement, narrative...To me, that's what it was always about..and now that it's gone...I just don't know what to do.

Well, we can't just expect people to pop on. It has no people on it right now and most people aren't going to wait on it alone, especially if they know they are just waiting for another player to get on. If I have learned anything while talking to some of the other players it is that they want a somewhat active DM so they can have events, and learn new jutsu so they can actually do something eventually. And obviously not everyone has given up on the server considering people still log in to the forums, they are just hoping that someone will come onto NWN. If well need active DMs then I will step up and take the challenge, I truely don't care who takes this position. I just do not want to see this server die yet because it still has loads of potential left in it.

Hira man its not like we didnt try. i lost sleep trying to figure out new things i planed out massive event and had one person show up its crushing and without internet to go on Nwn i find my head has cleared and its for the better that i leave. its not that i didnt enjoy the time i had as a Dm it was probly the most fun entertaining and touching Thing about Nwn but after countless wasted hours of waiting around for 1 person or maybe 3 or 4 if you were lucky for an event you spent 4-6 hours planing it out perfectly it just isnt worth it to me. the outcomes doesn't weight up to the Preperation. and I am sorry kelly but i dont see the sever comming back and if it does i will gladly play it as i do love the sever alot and the people are what make the sever the place it is, with no people there is no sever dispite if it is up or not. no players = no sever = no fun. Again Sorry kelly .

I know you all tried I am just asking that the server is not just shut down. PEople are obviously still interested in it because just yesterday I was on alone for 10 minutes and me and 4 other people started playing together. There are also people with computer issues currently that feel the same way and if they come back ready to play on the server only to find out that it is gone completely they won't be happy. I know you all tried your hardest while DMing and I appreciate this very much. I am just asking that a new generation of DMs step up so the server can keep going. Me and many other people don't want to see it go down yet.

gara, im sorry to say this but just drop it, everyone understeands we are over, 4 people dosent make a server dude, the dms were trying to ceep it up but they cant go on, even Anko and Shika say its over and they were the main two people fighting for it all, red quit, neji and kiba quit, shika quit, moust of the player base is gone, we dont have anything to build a server from, we arnt starting from nothing, we are starting from a server thats dead and well its not gone come back dude, im as sad as you are on this but its over dude, you havent see half of what the server has goon through, and it was ugly and seemd like over, but it wasent, this time its over, there is nothing they or we can do

Im one of those with comp problems that Hira mentioned, and hes right, Id be very upset to see it gone when I get back. I dont see why it should have to die if just a few of us still believe in it. This server is more than a place to play, its a home server to me, and many others. When I do get a comp, Id be more than happy to DM and assist in any way I can. I cant watch my home server die so easily. Ive been here longer than almost anyone Umu Red and Kabuto being the only ones older here and I cant leave.

As tempest said, the server is like home to many people and just taking that away is like taking someone away from their family. Obviously many of you have tried but can't bring the server back and you are ready to give up but some of us players are not. And some people are just too busy to be on at the time. It's not like people don't go to school, and don't work, and don't have real lifes. No one can spend all day on the server so you can't expect it to be full 24/7. At this point I am going to leave it up to the rest of you but I would be ashamed if you just let the server die at this point in time after all that it has made it through.

ill tell you what. If i get my Internet back i will come on and Temp Dm or Train a new one if kelly allows it. Just beacsue i wouldnt want to leave this sever completely Un prepared.

If Anko does allow you to train a new DM, Kiba, then I am more then willing to take up the task. I never applied to be a DM before because I didn't think i could do it but I am not going to lose this server so I will take the job in the server's darkest hour. I am also on constantly when i have the time. I usually do have the time anyway.

No offence to all of you, But the maturity that alot of you show, I would never give any of you DM. What we have to face, is that NC even though it was a great server, it is coming to an end. We have to let it go, Like your first child on their first day of school, or when your little girl or boy, finally moves on and leaves home. Basically, What I'm trying to say is... Move on.
