First.
No. No missing-nin village, sorry.
Second, to those who keep flaming, or continue/attempt to insult and create drama on these forums...
If you keep it up, your forum privileges will be taken away.
We really don't want to treat you like children, but if (you know who you are) you continue to create problems we will put you on time-out.

Valtor, you need to see things from our perspective too. This is an enviornment for the fun of all, not just one or two select people. Something you all need to realize is a DM isn't going to run an event for -YOU-. They are going to run an event for the server, in which the most people can enjoy themselves. By creating a group of missing ninja, you are removing that group of people away from the majority of server, and thus, taking away their events. Taking away their events leaves them alone, and broken down with nothing to do. This leads to bickering, complaining and claiming the dm's aren't running events...when they are. The group just chose not to be in a faction that almost all the events are run for. I try so hard to make you all see that, but still a select group of you want to go missing so much. You think that you can go missing and have events run for you, just because your missing...and that the dm's will run them for you when there's like 10 not missing people who also would like an event. That's selfish. We aren't trying to discourage Missing ninja because we want to limit your rp. We're not discouraging it because we don't like them or whatever silly nonsense we're constantly getting accused of. We're discouraging them because they simply cause too many problems. The server population and the -DM- population especially are simply not big enough to have that many different factions. It causes the population to be spread too thin, and thus causes everyone to be bored. So instead of everyone trying to create strife, let's try to work together and have some fun.
oh, and those of you who flame and act like children better stop it. Now. It's one thing to have an open, honest discussion...but it's another thing to start accusing things and throwing insults around and crap.

I don't see how we can have fun...wait let me fix that i don't see me having fun. When there is no one on the server all day and i cheak like every hour or so to see if there is people on. Most of the naruto players i see that are online they are playing Bleach, And people saying they have exams bull**** i see them on other servers.

And do you have a solution to this, Xninja, or are you just going to complain about it? Because if you are offering any productive solutions, i'm listening.

Valtor, you need to see things from our perspective too. This is an enviornment for the fun of all, not just one or two select people. I was DM too here remember . So I know what you mean just fyi I force none to join or specifically create a character for ''my'' missing nin group. Its once own free choice and risk. And Events arent the only thing that make an RP server an RP server , they just stimulate it and Naruto needs alot of stimulation. Another way to get people to roleplay (more) is to hand out RP tokens for ''normal'' non -event RP, something I dont see alot (barely actually). So perhaps a tip? Again if one decides to join a missing nin group they know the risks. But there's a difference between not alot of events or no-events. Missing nin events can be simple ANBU hunting them , they dont always have to lose and get perma'd I think thats a point of view though it was partially created by missing nin I dont think we should stay stuck in the past. You could always assign a DM to specifically do more missing nin stuff then others so the others have plenty of time for the normal nin. but the signal I am kinda receiving from the DM team is discouraging missing nin rp. I agree that not everyone should go missing especially with the tiny playerbase at the moment. What about this: If you want to go missing you either start as a Rain nin (10 tokens) and additionally show a decent amount of RP OR you write up a very cool background and explanation ( not a I want more powerzzz one) and pay 5 tokens then you're allowed to go missing? Rain is -not- missing nin , alot of missing nin hide in rain wether rain allows that is an entirely different question. Perhaps allow 2 Missing nin factions: The Pein faction that means you are connected to Rain somehow but not a real member. and The Player faction yay!

I think that whom ever suggested this idea should sit down with the dms in private and actualy talk it out, It idea itself might incur a token cost I dont know, But im sure it would stop all this un-needed arguing and moaning from both sides.

And you wonder at the lack of players and why they are going elsewhere?

Well for a missing ninja village I think it is a good idea... you say there aren't enough dms... hire more... there needs to be conflict, all I see everytime I am on is OP people like Uchihas and Ichiban especially. There needs to be players vs player conflict. And when you say you don't disencourage missing ninja... well a dm told me directly that it is the dm's job to execute missing ninja players. So yes you are discouraging it by making it an easy perma death scenario.

Ohh, geeze...I spent all that time reading about it all, and it seems its a dead topic... Errr...So wait, missing ninjas arnt allowed anymore? Darn...You need one evil thing that isnt an npc, adds good conflict to the game, instead of a bunch of ppl sitting around the server talking and "sparring" because theres no evil player to fight/hunt/come-into-contact-with.

Ok now I'm tired of this... let me put it this way...
MISSING NIN ARE NOT WELCOME BY THE STAFF ON THE SERVER AND YOU WILL BE HUNTED AND PERMA'ed.
And Valtoor I've been patient with you and your flaunting death. I don't like to kill characters its why your not dead yet but you walk in or around Grass ~again~ you WILL be killed same goes for any Missing near the village they are missing from.
You wanted to exile yourselves and sign your death warrant for leaving your village fine. We'll handle this the way it would have been handled in the show then...
